While I went from Egyptian life style to Icelands I noticed many differences. Egyptians main religion is Muslim, and Icelands main religion is Christian. The Egyptians wear way different clothes than the Iceland people do. They wear normal clothes when the Egyptians wear clothes that are covering their heads. The Egyptians and the Iceland poeple both eat some what of similar foods. They both eat meat as one type of main dish, but the Iceland people eat differently like in a formal area.

One of the main attractions is the Keriư

Week 2

There are three historical landmarks I will be visiting in Cairo, Egypt. The first place is the Great Sphinx which is said to be more than 4000 years old. It sits there gaurding the Great Pyramids in Giza. This is a great and or high encountered tourist attraction. The Great Sphinx got its name because the people saw a body of a lion and a head of a man. The next place I will be visiting is the Citadel. It is said to be one of the most popular tourist attractions in Cario. This was started by Saladin in 1176 and completed by the sultans that followed. The Citadel was believed to be one of the world's greatest monuments is famous for its museums, mosques, and for its stone fort. The last place I will be visiting is the Cairo Tower. The Cairo Tower is one of the other most popular tourist attractions. This is made as an excuse to most poeple in Egypt just because there is a restaurant on the top floors of this building and poeple say they are going to eat but really they are just going to see the veiw of the desert floor and the cool statues seen far out.

Week 1

When I got to Egypt I realized that the Egyptians lived in small mud-brick homes. The Egyptians had the Nile River near by so they would get a profuse amount of fish to eat. They would have bread and beer as well. The Egyptians would also eat wheat and honey, and they harvested beans, peas, and grapes. They would take the grapes and would make types of whine out of them. A traditional dish in Egypt is Melokhya. Which is a soup made from a leafy green vegetable called Molokhya or Melokhya. It can be served with rice or meat like chicken. You may also eat this soup with bread. The Egyptians wear clothes made of cotton, wool, or animal skins. They would paint on them and use feathers as a design. As I saw the Egyptians main and most popular religions are Sunni Muslim, Orthodox Christian. The people in Egypt speak Egyptian Arabic (Masri). From the Ancient pyramid and temple walls they say the Egyptians would play wrestling and Archery. They would also swim and play ball games.
